Speakers at the conference include; 

Alan Draycott, Deputy Official Receiver will be speaking on “The Role of the Official Receiver”.

Alan dealt with many thousands of bankruptcies and compulsory winding up of companies as an insolvency service examiner in Southend, London and Sheffield from 1994 to 2006 and as a Deputy Official Receiver in Sheffield and Nottingham between 2006 – 2018.

Mick Beattie, National Police Chief’s Council National coordinator for the financial crime portfolio NPCC will speak on”The Future of Investigating Economic Crime in the UK”

Mick has 30 years’ experience as a police investigator and Police manager (Detective Chief Inspector) and is qualified to lead investigations into serious and organised crime. He has specialist knowledge of fraud/ financial and cyber crime investigations. Mick also has practical experience of intelligence handling and the use of covert products and tactics.

Lucy Rhymaun, Trading Standards Service will speak on “The work of Trading Standards”

Lucy began working for the Metropolitan Police in 2002 where she worked in a mix of response team fat time intelligence and on a Safer Neighbourhood team. She was seconded to a number of projects in the MPS including Operation Theseus, the investigation into the London Bombings. She left the MPS in 2009 in order to undertake an intelligence role in the Major Investigation Unit which she did until 2013. She then did some contract work for the Serious Fraud Office and NHS Protect until she became a Regional Intelligence Analyst for Trading Standards in 2014 until present day.
